Answer the buyer’s question
Copying a supplier description rarely helps someone choose. Explain meaningful features, dimensions or specifications, use cases, limitations, and what the price includes. Use a clear title rather than repeated keyword variants. Accurate images and descriptive alternative text matter more than decorative stock imagery.
Put the product in context
Link to its category and genuinely relevant complementary items. Keep availability, price, shipping, and returns information current. If you add Product structured data, it must match what visitors can see; do not invent ratings or offers.
Manage weak and discontinued pages
Duplicate variants and unavailable products need a deliberate policy: update the page, identify a real substitute, or explain availability. Avoid a separate indexable page for every minor variation without a buyer or search reason. Include product-page structure in e-commerce development. See Google’s Product data guidance.
