SEO cost in Egypt: compare scope before price
There is no single national SEO price that describes every business. Cost depends on the site's condition, markets and languages, template complexity, and whether the proposal includes implementation and writing or recommendations only. Google's guide to hiring an SEO is a useful starting point for evaluating scope and expectations.
A fictional proposal comparison
| Proposal line | Question to ask | What should be written down? |
|---|---|---|
| Initial audit | How many templates and URLs are reviewed? | Samples, evidence and ranked actions |
| Research and content | Are interviews and page plans included? | Search intent, owner and subject review |
| Technical implementation | Who makes the changes? | Tasks, test environment and acceptance check |
| Measurement | What counts as an inquiry? | Data source and event test |
If a proposal says only “monthly SEO,” ask for deliverable or hour limits, who approves factual claims, and exclusions such as template development or third-party tools. Compare a lower quote that provides a report with a higher quote that also implements two fixes and tests a form. The prices are not comparable until responsibilities and dependencies are aligned.
Check delivery capacity
Before approving a budget, identify who will grant access, review facts, implement development work and follow up on inquiries. Missing capacity can delay a sound plan. Separate agency fees from ad spend and platform charges, and treat traffic forecasts as hypotheses rather than commitments.
Ask the provider to state contract length, cancellation terms, ownership of files and content, account access, and reporting cadence. Do not use an unsupported market average as a benchmark. A scoped SEO service can begin with a site assessment instead of a generic package.
